Ingredients: 500g cornstarch (maizena) 190g margarine (or butter) 1 can of condensed milk Preparation method: In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, margarine, and condensed milk. Mix everything with your hands until you get a soft, even dough that doesn’t stick to your fingers. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more starch little by little until you get the right consistency. Shaping the cookies: Take small portions of dough and make teaspoon-sized balls. Keep the balls far apart. Place on a baking sheet (no need to grease). Using a fork or the bottom of a spoon, lightly press down on each ball to give it that charm and flatten it a little. Pastry: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Keep an eye on them: they should be lightly browned underneath but still light on top. (If you overbake them, they may become hard once cooled.) Finishing (optional, but irresistible!): Once cooled, dip half of each cookie in melted chocolate (semi-sweet, milk, or white).
