
Rice balls stuffed with cheese and ham (Arancini)
For frying:
• Vegetable oil (enough for frying)
Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice with the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
2. Take a small portion of rice in your hand, flatten slightly, and place a piece of cheese and a few cubes of ham in the center.
3. Carefully close to form a compact ball, enclosing the filling. 4. Coat each ball in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in breadcrumbs.
5. Heat the oil in a deep saucepan or deep fryer.
6. Fry the balls until golden brown on all sides.
7. Drain on paper towels.
Tip: Serve warm with lime wedges for a refreshing touch. 🍋
